TYLER COURTNEY'S 1ST ANNUAL GOLF BENEFIT 2011
Young man becomes a SSPF "Hero for Hope"

Tyler Courtney  2011 Chili Bowl Rookie of the Year, 17 year old Tyler Courtney has announced a “1st Annual Golf Benefit” to be held  on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the beautiful Trophy Club in Lebanon, IN.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to two of Tyler's favorite foundations: the Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation www.samschmidt.org and Racing for Corey www.racingforcorey.org.

Intended as a fun outing, the golf benefit was designed to help young and talented drivers across the country raise money, sponsorship awareness and to build sponsor partnerships to carry them forward in their racing careers.

Because the hardest part of a young driver’s job is building these relationships and ensuring that sponsors are getting the full benefit and viability of their investment, Tyler planned this event to bring sponsors, fan support, family and friends together to network with each other.  His hope is to not only raise funding for his own racing career but also a future young driver scholarship program.
