The 2011 World Stem Cell Summit is an event produced by the Genetics Policy Institute (GPI) and co-organized with the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM), City of Hope, Cedars Sinai Regenerative Medicine Institute, California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Keck School of Medicine of University of Southern California and the Consulate General of Canada in Los Angeles.

Join us for the 2nd Annual Honda Indy Toronto 5K Run, Walk 'N Wheelathon Toronto, Canada on Thursday, July 15, 2010 in support of Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation, Shoot for a Cure and Canadian Spinal Research Organization. Participants will have a once-in–a-lifetime opportunity to burn some rubber on the Honda Indy Track just a few days prior to the IZOD IndyCar Series drivers take to the track. This is a rare opportunity for the whole family to experience first-hand the Honda Indy Edmonton racetrack. Participants will receive a special race t-shirt and gift bag at the event. Recording artist, Sara Westbrook will be singing the national anthem to kick off the event.
A Wheelchair Relay Race will take place where teams of up to 4 people will have the opportunity to race around the track in a wheel chair, challenging their friends, co-workers, family or businesses in a fun filled, but competitive race. A victory party will take place immediately following the race at the start/finish line where there will be a live performance by Toronto band, EZ Street and guests will have the opportunity to take photos with the IZOD IndyCar pace cars.
Edmonton:
Be a part of this thrill of a lifetime - run, walk or wheelchair around the temporary race course at City Centre Airport on Friday, July 23, 2010 in conjunction with Honda Indy Edmonton. Proceeds bernefit the Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation, Shoot for a Cure and Aaron Moser Spinal Cord Injury Foundation.
$45.00 for competitive runners or $20 for walkers or wheelchairs. – fundraise $150.00 for walkers and $200 for runners and your registration fee will be waived!
