Schmidt Paralysis Foundation Announces Launch Of Official Web
Site
-SamSchmidt.org Goes Live-
Fontana,
Calif.--Sam Schmidt today announced the launch of samschmidt.org,
the official Web site of the Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation.
The updated and expanded site includes a number of features including
information about spinal cord injury, links to spinal cord injury
organizations, news relating to spinal cord research, an events
calendar, and a photo gallery. Visitors can catch a quick glimpse
of the latest news and SSPF happenings by viewing the home page's
scrolling news ticker and are welcomed by a message from Schmidt.
Navigation of the site is made easy through the use of interactive
navigation tabs near the top of the screen. In each section, a
sub-navigation menu appears at left to offer more navigation options.
"I am extremely excited to announce the launch of samschmidt.org,"
said Schmidt. "We've given our Web site a new look that reflects
the energy, attitude and hope that embodies the Sam Schmidt Paralysis
Foundation. Families and friends of spinal cord injury patients
will have fun with our newly designed site, but more importantly,
will find information that we hope will make their lives easier.
"We
are by no means finished. We hope to continually add more and
more content, including multimedia downloads, merchandise and
online donation capabilities," added Schmidt. "This is the tip
of the iceberg. The Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation will continually
attempt to provide visitors the most comprehensive information
currently available. Our new Web site is one of the ways we hope
to achieve that."
The
Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation is committed to help individuals
overcome spinal cord injuries and other debilitating illnesses
by facilitating scientific research, medical treatment, rehabilitation
and technology advances. The Foundation raises funds to improve
quality of life and ensure best possible outcomes by touching
individual lives.
