For Immediate Release:

AUCTION TO BENEFIT SAM SCHMIDT PARALYSIS FOUNDATION

I wanted you to be among the first to know that the Firestone 10th Anniversary poster signed by all Indy Racing League race winning drivers is now on Ebay.

The auction will close October 17th at 9 pm coinciding with the 2005 Indy Racing League Championship Celebration in Hollywood, CA
All auction proceeds will benefit the Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation and CARA Charities.

The winning bidder will receive a limited edition Firestone 10th Anniversary poster signed and numbered by the artist, Paul Laguette.
Featuring the autographs of 33 IRL race winning drivers, the poster will delivered professionally framed and with a letter of authenticity.
Here is a great opportunity to own a real piece of racing history hanging in your office, lobby or den.
Plus your tax deductible bid goes to support two great racing related charities, CARA and the Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation.

For more details or to place a bid, please visit the Ebay auction page:

Thank you again to all of the IRL drivers and team personnel that helped with this project and a special thanks to the Firestone Racing team.
Al Speyer, Joe Barbieri and Charla Sasser saw a great opportunity to further support CARA and the Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation while celebrating
Firestones’ significant anniversary and authentic Motorsports heritage.

Schmidt, a winning race car driver who is now a quadriplegic car owner in the Infiniti Pro Series, is founder of the Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundation (www.samschmidt.org), which helps individuals overcome spinal cord injuries and other neurological disorders by funding scientific research, medical treatment, rehabilitation and technological advances. This research also benefits stroke victims and people diagnosed with ALS, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases. SSPF also addresses quality of life issues benefiting people with paralysis and other disabilities through its Day At The Races program, and works tirelessly promoting advocacy concerns.
